It is one of the most popular and preferred laser methods among laser treatments. No-Touch Laser Treatment reshapes the cornea using an excimer laser. It is designed for the treatment of myopia and astigmatism.  No-Touch Laser Treatment is hands-free. No microkeratome blade or laser is used to create the flap. In addition, laser duration is important for patient comfort and compliance. No-Touch Laser Treatment is a fast treatment. What is No-Touch Laser?

No-touch laser is an advanced application of PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) and LASEK methods.  Although it is popularly known as “eye lining”, we do not actually make an incision in the corneal tissue in this method. No-Touch Laser is preferred in patients with thin corneas.

What to Know About No-Touch Laser:

A personalized examination should be performed.

Driving is not recommended for a few hours after the examination.

A detailed eye examination is performed to determine the suitability of the eye for the procedure before the no-touch laser treatment. Since the eye is not contacted with any instrument during the treatment, the risk of infection is very low. No-touch laser treatment is a flap and incision-free treatment. After the no-touch laser treatment, a contact lens is placed in the eye. This contact lens is removed on the 4th or 5th day. There is no pain or soreness during the treatment.

What is the recovery process after No-Touch Laser?
